Jesus’ Death

Artwork depicting a dramatic scene related to Jesus' death, with people gathered on a rocky landscape under a cloudy sky, featuring a beam of light illuminating the scene. Text overlay includes the title 'God Revealed in Mark,' reference to Isaiah 64:1-4 and Mark 15:33-39, and the logo of Argyle Road Baptist Church.

Mark’s gospel tells of two significant things that happened at the moment of Jesus’ death: the tearing of the veil in the temple from top to bottom, and the declaration of the Roman Centurion. Pastor Ryan tells how these relate to the two previous significant revelations of God in this gospel, and outlines their significance for us.
