This page shows events at our church, our sister churches in Regina (First Baptist and Westhill Park Baptist), our denomination (Canadian Baptists of Western Canada) and the camps we partner with (Katepwa Lake Camp and Dallas Valley Ranch Camp).
Katepwa Lake Camp wants to help mothers send their kids to camp even if they can’t afford to pay, or pay the whole amount. They are hoping to raise $10,000 for this purpose by Mother’s Day, May 14. If you would like to help, donation options are on their website.
A representative from the camp will be at our church on June 4 to tell us all about the exciting summer camps coming up!
Our church is supporting the Options Pregnancy Centre Baby Bottle Fundraiser. Pick up your baby bottle at the church starting on Mother’s Day (May 14) and return it by Father’s Day (June 18). You can donate by cash or cheque in the bottle, e-transfer to office@reginapregnancy.com, or use a credit card on their website.
The next Women’s Ministry event will be a potluck lunch on May 28. This time we will get to know each other by playing table games and doing some painting with Marilyn and Phyllis. All women welcome!
Pastor Ryan and Sharon will be away from May 30 – June 3 at the CBWC Assembly in Calgary, and the office will be closed. Please contact a deacon if you need assistance on those days.
Teen Challenge will be joining us on Sunday June 4 in our worship service. Come and hear a dynamic presentation featuring testimonies and stories of finding freedom from addiction. There will be a lunch afterwards and a special donation will be taken. There will also be opportunities to sponsor women overcoming their addictions here in Saskatchewan.
After Teen Challenge gives their presentation in church on June 4, we will share lunch with them downstairs. The Mandarin Fellowship will provide the food. Please email the office or sign up at the back of the sanctuary if you will attend, so we know how much food is needed. Thanks!
Our Spring Congregational Meeting will be on Sunday June 11 after church. We will have lunch together first and then get updates on what’s been happening and what will be happening. There will also be a report from the CBWC Assembly, which is the week before.
