Summer holidays are almost here! Children’s Ministry volunteers will meet very briefly in the library after church on Sunday to discuss summer programming. Thanks!

Our spring congregational meeting is this Sunday, June 7 after church. A light lunch will be provided. Come if you can to hear updates on a few ministries and to welcome six new people into membership.

The next Men’s Breakfast is Saturday June 6 at 9:30 a.m. at Nicky’s Café (corner of Winnipeg and 8th Ave.) Talk to Pastor Ryan or sign up at the back of the church if you would like to go. This will be the last one until fall.

The Regina Look Up Celebration with Will Graham takes place on Friday June 12 at 7 pm at the Brandt Centre. Come for live music and a message of hope in Jesus. The event is free, so be thinking about who you might invite. (Please note that the Saturday event has been cancelled, so it is only on Friday night now.)

Our outdoor service and church picnic will be on Sunday June 14, weather permitting! We will meet in Kinsman Park behind the church (off Kings Road and a bit north) at 10:30 for worship, then share food together. The playground and spray pad are cordoned off during park redevelopment, but we will have activities for the kids.
We are looking for two people who could bring a barbeque, shop for hamburgers, and cook them at the picnic. If you can help with this, please talk to Pastor Ryan. If you would like to help him lead the singing, that would be welcome as well.
Bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket to sit on, snacks to share, and your own beverages. Also soccer balls, frisbees etc. if you like.

Our next Praise & Prayer night is Saturday June 20 at 6:30 pm. Come and worship God and pray for our various communities, our families, and each other.
Help Wanted Section
Thanks to everyone who volunteers with our ministries! We believe that God provides each of us with gifts we are to use to build up his church. Talk to Pastor Ryan if you would like to explore how you can be involved in the opportunities below or in any other way.

We are looking for one or more people to plan lunches for meetings or other church events. Other volunteers will help do the work; this is just to do the planning. The office will look after communications so people can sign up to help out.

Wei He has done a beautiful job of decorating our sanctuary. But she will be stepping down later this year and we will need one or more people to take over. There are lots of decorating supplies available and a small budget for more.

If your children or youth (ages 2 to Grade 12) attend Sunday morning programs at Argyle, please register them if you haven’t already. You can do it online or on a paper form, available at the back of the sanctuary or from your child’s teacher. Note that if you have registered your child in a previous year, you only need to update the form, not fill it all in again. Thanks for helping us keep your children and young adults safe and appropriately cared for.
Opportunities to Serve

The Options Pregnancy Centre Baby Bottle Campaign runs from Mother’s Day (May 10) to Father’s Day (June 21). Pick up a baby bottle if you would like to donate, or you can donate in other ways if you like. If you have questions, Lorrie will be happy to answer them.

Our church joins First Baptist Church four times a year in preparing and serving lunches to hungry people downtown. As part of the Sandwich Outreach, we also donate useful items such as disposable razors, band-aids, soap, toothbrushes, laundry detergent, feminine hygiene supplies, toilet paper, warm mitts and socks, and so on. There is a donation bin at the back of the church to collect the items for next time. Thank you for your generosity.
