This sermon series is about the letters to the churches that John recorded in chapters 2 and 3 of the book of Revelation. They are messages from the risen Christ to 7 of the churches that existed by that time, and contain commendations, condemnations, and warnings. There are lessons in them for our churches today as well. Pastor Ryan spoke about these letters from September 18  to November 20, 2016.

From July 3 to September 4 in 2016, Pastor Ryan did a daring thing. He asked members of the congregation to submit their favorite Scripture passage, and then preached a series of sermons on these passages. Two of the August sermons were by Guest Speakers.

Between April 17 and June 26 of 2016, Pastor Ryan preached a series on the book of Ecclesiastes. One of the main themes in the book is that we spend a lot of time chasing after things that don’t last, such as power, work and money, relationships, pleasure, wisdom, spirituality, and immortality. All of these things are found in their fullness and proper form in Jesus Christ. Outside of him, pursuing these things is like chasing after the wind.
